When doing your Christmas shopping online, why not raise money for the Mini and Youth section at the same time, at no extra cost or hassle?
Easyfundraising (http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/) is a simple online system for getting retailers to contribute a percentage of your online purchases to good causes. Many top online retailers participate in the scheme and it does not add anything to your purchase price.
So if you are buying anything, however small, from thousands of companies like Amazon, John Lewis, Apple, M&S, Evans Cycles, Next, then registering your purchase with Easyfundraising will result in money coming into CRUFC M&Y.
It’s easy to do and for Firefox users there is a helpful Easyfundraising toolbar with search and account functions built in to make online shopping easy.
Some of you are already using this – thank you. Others may be raising money for other causes, but many of you are not using this at all and are missing out on ‘free’ donations to our good cause.
Make CRUFC Mini and Youth the cause of your choice by following these steps.
In the process you will see that £244 has been raised so far for M&Y. This is from 40 people being registered. If 400 people use the system, the donations will reach thousands of pounds.
The way it works is that your go to your online retailer through the Easyfundraising pages, which then registers the purchase for the donations. It adds no time or expense to the actual purchase.
My favourite retailer, currently donating a generous 2.5% of purchases, is Adnams Beer and Wine. So if you are stocking up with Adnams excellent mini kegs of Ghost Ship, and their excellent wine selection this Christmas, use this online route to raising significant funds for Mini and Youth
Remember, if you're buying something online, easyfundraising will donate a percentage of your purchase to CRUFC Mini and Youth without incurring extra costs.
