Sophie is our Nutritionist who works with the squad to educate them on the correct nutrition needed for healthy living and for rugby specifically. She gives the team group talks and also works with a number of individuals on a one to one basis.
"Rugby is such a dynamic sport that emphasises stress on all of the energy systems, from sprint work to endurance, and so it is very important to undertake the correct approach to nutrition to enable you to work efficiently and get the most out of training and competing. Nutrition is not only important for performance related goals, but also for body composition, good health and generally just feeling good."
