This was always going to be a tight game with both teams meeting again in March for the County Cup Final, The game was played with commitment & spirit but different styles with Shelford opting for a Kicking game & Cambridge playing through the hands.

Both scores were in the 1^st half , The 2^nd half saw a very good defensive display & Cambridge were unlucky not to score again late in the second half but were judged to have knocked on on the try line.
