New Laws Update

As you may know a number of new laws have been trialled recently on a global basis. One site was here in Cambridge in inter college games. The IRB has agreed that some of these will now be introduced and I received the below this week.

From the RFU: I would like to draw your attention to the IRB Law amendments approved for global trial at the start of the  Northern Hemisphere season at, or around, 1 September 2012.  (The amendments can be implemented during pre-season and cup matches taking place in August)

Please see the attached file.

If you go to the following link on the IRB web site you will find all the information you need including detailed descriptions of all law amendments and supporting videos

The changes that will apply are:

Law 3.4 Players Nominated as Substitute
Law 4 Players Clothing - Provisions Permitting the Use of GPS
Law 4.2 Special Additional Items of clothing for women
