Development Squad - 2010/2011

CRUFC's development squad (the Wanderers) returns for season 2010/2011 and have been accepted into Division 1 of "The Shield" sponsored by Rugby Tech (formerly Canterbury Shield).  Of this development,  CRUFC Director of Rugby,  Bob Crooks said:

Our development squad will be competing against the likes of Plymouth Albion, Esher, Blackheath, Rosslyn Park, Richmond etc. Our Blood and Gold Squad will be faced with great challenges next season on two fronts and it will be a truly testing time for all concerned but one in which our young players will undoubtedly grow and be the stronger for facing this challenge. It also promises to be a great opportunity for us to market our “non 1st XV” home fixtures and ensure that there is a constant attendance from a band of supporters either home or away supporting our lads.
