Overview

The Events’ Manager is responsible for planning and managing our events’ calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event brief objectives.

The Events’ Manager will have creativity, organisational skills, and the vision to assist the club in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing the experience for members and clients, and improve the club’s growth through events that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing the club events’ calendar.
  • Attracting new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Handling the promotion, administration and delivery of all events (including matchday lunches).
  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts.
  • Good financial management, strong budgeting and invoicing capability.
  • Liaising and working cooperatively with others including negotiating with vendors.
  • Managing event branding, marketing and communication.
  • Updating senior management & working group teams.
  • Supporting the partnership team with client management.

Requirements

  • Degree in public relations, communications, or hospitality (desirable).
  • Communication and marketing skills (essential)

  • Proficiency in various event software (essential)
