Rugby Force Day

10 months ago By Adrian Fraser

Volunteers needed - many hands make light work etc...

As a reminder we will be holding a Rugby Force Day this Saturday the 24th June
Volunteers are needed to help get the ground in tip-top condition for the approaching 2017/18 season.

We will be showing the Lions game (kick off at 8.35) with a breakfast roll before we start work on Saturday around 10.00 (ending around 16.00).

Anyone that can come along and help with a bit of painting and cleaning around the ground to help would be much appreciated.

The jobs we have are:

  • Hedge cutting
  • Strimming
  • Power washing
  • Litter clearing
  • Some weeding
  • Repairing broken fence rails
  • Painting fences
  • Erecting the small marquee
  • Cleaning sponsor boards
  • Cleaning down fire escape
  • Painting fire escape
  • Taking down some of the posts
  • Cleaning the stands and seats

Whether it’s only for a hour or the whole day every little helps. If you have work gloves then please bring along!
