The Club intends to continue to rise through the league structure to whatever standard the local area is able to support. It is the firm belief of the committee that Cambridge as a city is well placed to support a national league side and that the Cambridge Club has much to offer to local businesses whilst playing at his level. Club sponsors now get exposure all over England from Blaydon and Fylde in the North, to Rosslyn Park and Blackheath in the South East.
Recognising the need for increased levels of support to continue rising through the leagues, Cambridge has set itself very positively on a course to significantly increase the sponsorship and commercial support to the Club. Since the beginning of the millennium the sponsorship of the Club has increased by 20 times and this support has been responsible for giant strides to be taken in improving the quality of the facilities enjoyed by players, sponsors and supporters.
The close season of 2005 saw significant improvements, with the addition of another floor onto part of the Club House providing a new room where the popular pre match hospitality Lunches are held with up to 180 guests seated. These improvements have made the Clubhouse an even more attractive venue for social or business events. A new 200 seat stand was completed in September 2007 and the club has offered individuals and businesses a chance to buy a precious 5 year debenture.
The improved level of Rugby means that there are better and better opportunities for Club sponsors to get exposure to even more people over a wider area.
