We are fortunate to have an excellent balance across our back 3 for this season with cohesion being the key ingredient.

Joe Green- Joe becomes a permanent signing for us this season, with him previously being on loan from Bedford Blues. One of his main strengths is his footwork and his ability to beat defenders. He has an excellent tactical appreciation for the game and is at home on either the wing or full back. It will be great to have full access to Joe this season and we are excited to see him reach his full potential.

Joey Patrick- Joey is approaching his third season at the club and is another young player with huge potential. Injury curtailed his season last year, not before he put in some impressive performances on the wing. He is an elusive and industrious attacker who will look to get on the ball at every occasion.

Andrew Henderson- The elder statesman of the club, Hendo brings with him a high level of knowledge and game understanding. His experiences of playing abroad and in the Championship have prepared him well for National 1 life and the ambitions of Cambridge. His smart play enabled him to cross the try line on a number of occasions in the 2019-20 season and we are excited to see him replicate this when we resume league action in September.

Kwaku Asiedu- Returning to the club permanently after his loan spell from Coventry during the 2018-19 season is Kwaku Asiedu. A proven try scorer, he has the size and physicality to compliment the other members of the back line. Our top try scorer back in 2018 , including a memorable match winning try away at Blackheath, we are excited about seeing him get the ball in space and trouble opposition defences. He has matured well over the past few seasons and has developed wider aspects of his game. Welcome back Kwaku.
