This season's midfield has been strengthened by the inclusion of 2 new players, Marc Koteczky and Will Wand.

Marc Koteczky- Marc signed for us last season from OE’s and has made an immediate impact on the field. He has a wealth of experience including Championship Rugby with Plymouth Albion and Shute Shield experience with Gordon RFC in Sydney. Marc is a current Hungarian International player and can also play at 10. He is an additional play maker in our back line and has a strong kicking game which will be important under this season's new regulations.

Will Wand- Will makes the step up from our Wanderers team that he has been a part of for the last 12 months. He has come through the Leicester Tigers Academy and has also represented East Midlands U20. He is a physical centre/winger who has a very good game understanding. He has made the successful transition into the 1st XV and continues to impress with his attitude and diligence.

Ned Brown- Ned had a breakthrough season with us last year and formed a powerful centre combination with Matt Hema. His direct, confrontational attack, coupled with his physicality in defence, made our midfield one of the most feared in National 1.

Matt Hema- Last season's player of the season has re-signed for another year. Nearing his 100th appearance, Matt's durability and try scoring prowess gained recognition by being awarded the 13 shirt in the National 1 ‘Team of the Season’. We are excited to see him in action again this season and build on his impressive 2019/20 season.
