Providing the stability and direction to our talented squad are our 3 fly halves. All 3 players have been regular fixtures over the past 2 seasons and all contributed to last seasons success;
Ben Penfold- One of the current centurions at the club, Ben helped drive the team's attack last season and was his ever-brave self in defence. He continues to have a positive influence on the wider club as part of his Rugby Development Officer role and head coach of the club's academy.
Lawrence Rayner- Lawrence is heading into his third season at the club and continues to be instrumental in shaping the way in which we play. He has an excellent understanding of the game and is able to articulate it to the rest of the squad. He played some of his best rugby last season and is a popular member of the group. In addition to his playing responsibilities, Lawrence is the senior rugby representative for mental wellbeing.
Joe Tarrant- An ever-present member of the 1st XV squad last season, Joe played the majority of the campaign at full back. His natural attacking prowess, combined with his determination, allowed us to manipulate opposition defences. He scored a number of tries throughout the season and will look to continue his fine form when we return. His ability to play 10 or 15 is a real bonus to our attack.
